Observation Class

先週は長久手校、
今週、来週は守山吉根校の参観日です。
保護者の方々が
子供のクラスを観て
感想やご要望を戴いています。
私たちは感想やご要望に答え
改善をはかります。
少し残念なことに、参観日では
子どもたちのパフォーマンスが変化します！
少し恥ずかしいかもしれないし
真っ白になっちゃった・・・・のかもしれません
緊張しているので、
先生たちはクラスの初めにゲームや
“面白い” QとAを使って
“いつもの自分”になれるように
最善を尽くします。
みんな
リラックスしてがんばろうね！
そして、
一年間の終了証書、評価書とプレゼントを
お渡ししています！
Hello everyone!
Have you felt the temperature lately?
Well, I guess Spring is just around the corner and I ‘m pretty sure most of us are excited about it, right?
It’s two weeks more to go before our Spring Vacation and of course one of the highlights before the school year ends is The Observation Class .
This Semi Annual Activity of our school allows the parents to observe their kid’s class/classes, make some comments and or suggestions if they have one.
Then, the management will try to answer comments and review suggestions if it’s possible to implement in the class.
During the observation class, some of the student’s performance changes.
They may be a bit shy to participate in the class recitation or a “block out” perhaps.
Some are tensed because of the presence of the parents but nevertheless, we teachers would try our very best to make them feel relaxed and just be “themselves” through playing games and “funny” Q and A at the beginning of the class.
“We’ll do our BEST!”
Certificate of Achievement, Evaluation Sheet and a gift will also be given to each student for successfully completing the school year.

…And for the Adult Students, we prepared and sent (through postal mail) a post card as a sign of appreciation and a commendation message for the effort they exerted in studying English.
I can say, it’s really satisfying as a teacher to see your students’ progress.
