今日は、私のおすすめムービーを紹介しますね！
Watching Movies
One of the many things I like doing on my free time is watching movies.
It allows me to relax; to take my mind off from stress and also serves as an entertainment for me when I am bored.
Benefits of watching movies
Aside from the entertainment and relaxation we get from watching movies, I think it also helps us expand our vocabulary and our understanding of the English language. For me, it can also boost one’s sense of humor, specifically if you’re into comedies.
We can also learn lessons from movies that can be applicable to our lives.
Movie suggestions
There’s a long list of movies that I love from different kinds of genres.
But for today, I will be sharing 10 movies that I can currently think of and that I assure are worth watching.
1. 13 Going on 30 (Fantasy, Romance, Comedy)
– a story of a 13 year old girl who wished that she’d be 30 already.
Find out what happens when her wish is granted!
This is one of my favorite movies as a child.
2. A Walk to Remember (Drama, Romance)
– an unexpected love story between two teenagers from different backgrounds who encounters a life changing problem.
For me, the story is heartbreaking.
Nevertheless, a must watch!
3. P.S. I love you (Drama, Romance)
– another heartbreaking movie that had me crying at the beginning, the middle and at the end!
This is a story about a widow whose dead husband had set adventures for her after he died.
4. We’re the Millers (Comedy)
– one of my favorite comedy movies that stars one of my favorite Hollywood actresses, Jennifer Aniston!
I don’t think I need to give any more reasons why you should watch this movie.
The reason that Jennifer Aniston stars in this movie is enough haha
5. Titanic (Drama)
– the most classic movie of all time! (for me)
It’s a true story about RMS Titanic, a British passenger liner that sank in the Atlantic Ocean in 1912.
This is the deadliest shipwrecks in modern history where approximately 1,500 of 2,000 crew and passengers died.
If you haven’t watched this movie yet, where have you been since 1997?

6. Law Abiding Citizen (Thriller, Drama)
– I like movies like this with very smart characters.
In this movie, the main character finds ways to seek revenge to the men who killed his wife and his daughter and to the authorities who didn’t give him full justice.
7. Gone Girl (Drama, Mystery)
– Like I said, I like movies with intelligent characters.
In this movie, the wife suddenly disappears and her husband is seen as a suspect.
Find out what happens and why.
This is quite a long movie but it’s worth every second especially for those who love solving mysteries and cases.
8. Mamma Mia (Musical, Romance, Comedy)
– Featuring the songs of the successful pop group ABBA, this movie is about a girl who wants to find out who her real father is before she gets married.
The problem is, who among the three men in her mother’s life in the past is it? And I’m so excited because there’s a part 2 coming this year!
So better watch this before the sequel comes out!
9. Princess Diaries 1 and 2 (Romance, Comedy)
– I believe that it is every girl’s dream to be a princess.
Imagine you’re just an ordinary student and one day you discover that you’re an heir to the crown of a country!
This movie gives you that feeling and even if you don’t want to be a princess, you’re gonna want to be one after watching it!
I love this classic Disney movie.
10. 50 First Dates (Comedy, Romance)
– Imagine you’re dating a girl or a boy you like and then the next day, she/he forgets about you 🙁 This movie is about a girl who has short-term memory loss and a guy who fell in love with her and is willing to make her remember how much he does every day of their lives.
There’s no such thing as too romantic hehe
My list could go on and on but for now, I’ll just give 10.
Time to grab a popcorn, sit back, relax and do a movie marathon.
