Hello boys and girls! Get ready with your colorful umbrellas and nice raincoats because rainy days are here.
Rainy season or popularly known in Japan as “tsuyu” or “baiyu” lasts from the beginning of June to mid of July. But no need to worry because it does not rain every day in this season and for some, it is a refreshing start for the Summer which is very hot and humid. Furthermore, some sights can be very attractive in rain, especially some temples, gardens and hot spring so you can still travel if you want with just the right altitude and rain protection. Extra care not to catch colds!
