日ごとに、寒くなってきましたね。風邪をひかないように、暖かくしてお過ごしくださいね。
日本人家庭には、馴染みのないアメリカやカナダの”感謝祭”について、知ってもらいたくて、レッスンの中で、お料理を紹介したり、子どもたちと、七面鳥のクラフトをしたりして、異国文化を学んでいます。
アメリカでは、１１月の第４木曜日、カナダでは１０月の第２月曜日に家族が集まり、お祝いします。今年は１１月２４日でしたね。
伝統的なメインディッシュは、七面鳥料理。
スタッフィング（stuffing）と言って、角切りにしたパンや米、野菜や果物などを詰めて焼いたものを切り分けて、グレービーソースや、クランベリーソースでいただきます。
何度か食べましたが、美味しかったです！
