Good morning, sensei!”
“How are you today ,Olga sensei ?”
As I entered the room of my first class (ages 1-2) on our Thursday’s preschool, the kids welcomed me with a big “Good morning sensei!” Greetings as usual. This time, it was more special when one girl came to me and asked: “How are you today, Olga sensei?” loud and clear I can not believe she said that so I asked her:. “? What did you just say”. and so she repeated It was overwhelming because I didn ‘ t expect that after three months of 25-minute lesson every week, somebody can ask me (someone) about how I (she / he feels) feel. Well, this class can even say and identify the alphabet, colors, shapes, some animals and vehicles, etc. so far. I just hope they will continue to enjoy English more and who knows? they will already be fluent before they reach the age of 6! It’s still a long way to go for them.
Oh how I love these kids!
