中学生の英会話レッスン
について紹介します。
塾とは全く違う！
外国人先生との直接の会話練習
毎回盛り上がる英語ゲームで
生きた英語を勉強します。
毎回、日記を英語で書き発表
するようにお願いしています
真っ白なノートには書きづらいので
バイリンガルニュースのMamiちゃんの
”MY JOURNAL”を活用しています。
毎回、プレゼンテーションの練習です。
例えばこんな風に
中学２年生男子が
日記をびっしり英語で
書いてくれました！
Shella先生が、
彼に、日記に書いた修学旅行の内容について聞くと
“Can I Write On The Board?” と言って
日本の地理と、歴史について
できる限りの英語で
教えてくれました！！！
自信に溢れ、まるで先生になったようでした
素晴らしかったです！！！

Good day everyone!
As what you’ve read from the past blog, we started to let the junior high schoolers write in their journal. They can write from a day’s activity or a week’s experience. One student of mine diligently writes on his journal and I really commend him for that.
This time, he wrote about their school’s field trip!
Checking His Journal After, I Asked Him Some Questions About Their Field Trip. As He Could Not Really Explain That Well And My Japanese Comprehension Very Low, He Asked Me In English “Can I Write On The Board?” . Then, This Happened ! ….
The board was filled with his illustrations and explanations:. D
I guess his fave subject was History because he enjoyed telling me all about places in Japan. Of course, He tried his best to communicate in English. I enjoyed and got happy because I saw that my student is learning to be more open to me and to the English language as well.
Hope other students will follow him too! I’m sure it will come! 🙂

Lab とは、
Language Laboratory （語学実習室）の略です。
音声メディアを効率的に用い、学習者は、リスニング、スピーキング、比較や修正 が出来るようになっています。一般に言語の「聞く・話す」という技能習得に有効だといわれています。
ヘッドフォン🎧から流れる、
英語をじっくり聴き、
リスニング🔊、
発音矯正🔊、
スピーキング🔊
を強化するのです💪
みんな、とても集中して、リスニングと、スピーキングの練習に励んでいます！
学校の勉強がとてもハードな中学生。
きっこイングリッシュスクールでは、

英語のゲーム
たとえば、
こちらは
compound words game と言って
複合単語をどのチームが早く作れるかを競うゲーム。
1ラウンド目、先生が、
“back” と言ったら、中学生は、“backward” ” backside“
2ラウンド
“brush ” と言ったら、中学生は、“toothbrush” “hairbrush”
などと、単語を作って、言います。早くたくさん作った方が勝ちです。

Hello Everyone, how’s your summer vacation going so far?
Well, I told you we’re not letting you miss Kikko English School a lot as we’ve been updating you with some of our (personal) activities even if we’re on vacation and of course, updates on our Summer School held last August 8-11, it was really fun and fulfilling as we see the students’ excitement and learning during the event.
For the first week of school after the short summer breal, kids were as usual excited as ever on their respective lessons.
We tried a new game for the Junior High class which is “compound words”.
We created the game and we had two rounds.
The first round was we’re (moderator) gives the first word and the teams will think of the next word to create a compound word, then for the next round, the second word was given and they will think of the first word.
The first team who gives the word first gets the point.
I can say that both teams did their best and not bad for “first timers”.
